If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
These terms apply to all visitors to our website and all customers who hire us for roofing, restoration, or insurance claims assistance work. Your continued use of our website after any updates to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Estimates and Quotes
We offer free estimates and inspections to help you understand the scope and cost of work before you commit to anything.
- Estimates are not binding. Any verbal estimate, written quote, or preliminary assessment is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute a contract or a commitment to perform work at any stated price.
- Estimates may change. Final pricing may differ based on actual job conditions, hidden damage discovered during work, material cost fluctuations, or changes in scope requested by you.
- Insurance estimates: The approved claim amount may differ from our initial assessment. We will work with your insurer to document and support your claim, but we cannot guarantee any specific insurance payout.
- No obligation: Requesting or receiving an estimate does not obligate you to hire us or obligate us to perform the work.
A project becomes a commitment only when both parties have signed a written service contract as described in Section 4.
4. Contracts and Agreements
All work performed by Sorensen Roofing & Restoration is governed by a separate written service contract that we will provide before any work begins. That contract will include:
- A detailed scope of work describing exactly what will be done
- Materials to be used
- Project pricing and payment schedule
- Estimated start and completion timelines
- Any additional terms specific to your project
These Terms of Service work alongside your project contract — they are not a substitute for it. In the event of any conflict, the terms of your signed project contract will control.
Do not allow any work to begin without a signed, written agreement in hand.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms for your project will be detailed in your signed service contract. The following general policies apply unless your contract specifies otherwise:
Deposits
Most projects require a deposit before work begins. The deposit amount will be stated in your contract and is typically required upon signing. Your deposit may be non-refundable if you cancel after materials have been ordered or work has been scheduled.
Final Payment
Final payment is due upon substantial completion of the project, unless your contract establishes a different payment schedule.
Insurance Claims Projects
You are responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurance company, including your deductible. We do not waive, absorb, or pay deductibles on your behalf — any agreement to do so would be a violation of Colorado insurance law.
Late Payments
Payments not received by their due date may be subject to a late fee as specified in your service contract. Accounts significantly past due may be referred to a collections agency, and you may be responsible for reasonable collection costs and attorney’s fees.
6. Insurance Claims Assistance
We help customers properly document the damage to their property for insurance claims process after storm damage. Here’s what we do and what you should know:
What We Do
- Conduct thorough damage inspections and document findings with photos and written reports
- Meet with your insurance adjuster at the property to walk through the damage
- Supplement insurance estimates when damage has been overlooked or undervalued
Important Disclaimers
We are not attorneys, and we are not licensed public adjusters. The insurance claims assistance we provide is based on our experience as roofing and restoration contractors, not as legal or insurance professionals. Nothing we communicate should be construed as legal advice or a guarantee of any particular claim outcome.
If your claim is disputed, denied, or involves complex legal or coverage questions, we strongly encourage you to consult a licensed public adjuster or an attorney who specializes in insurance claims.
Sorensen Roofing & Restoration cannot guarantee that your insurance company will approve your claim, cover specific items, or pay any particular amount. Insurance coverage decisions are made solely by your insurance company based on your policy terms.
7. Warranties and Guarantees
Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work and provide a workmanship warranty on labor for all completed projects. The specific warranty period and terms will be stated in your service contract. Our workmanship warranty covers defects caused by improper installation — it does not cover damage caused by subsequent storms, acts of nature, improper maintenance, or modifications made by others.
Manufacturer Warranties
Many materials we install come with manufacturer warranties that may cover material defects for a specified period. We will provide you with available warranty documentation for materials used on your project. Manufacturer warranties are issued by the manufacturer, not by Sorensen Roofing & Restoration.
Warranty Limitations
Warranties may be voided or limited by:
- Damage caused by severe weather events occurring after project completion
- Modifications to the roofing system made by others without our prior written approval
- Failure to perform recommended maintenance
- Pre-existing structural issues not addressed as part of our scope of work
- Non-payment of amounts owed under your service contract
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sorensen Roofing & Restoration’s total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
- Loss of use of your property during project completion
- Damage caused by pre-existing conditions or structural deficiencies not included in our scope of work
- Outcomes related to your insurance claim that are outside our control
- Delays caused by weather, material availability, permitting, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Informal Resolution First
If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly through an honest conversation, and we are committed to working with you in good faith.
Formal Disputes
